Cape Town, “the Mother City”, is one of the most spectacular cities of the world. With Table Mountain, beautiful beaches, Cape Point and the Waterfront, this city has much to offer visitors. A blend of architectural styles reflects the history of the city and more modern day requirements. Between the high-rise blocks, Edwardian and Victorian buildings have been meticulously restored, and many fine examples of Cape Dutch architecture are found. The narrow cobblestone streets and the strongly Islamic Bo- Kaap enhance the cosmopolitan ambiance. Wine-lovers will enjoy the experience of exploring the tranquil and scenic wine estates in the Cape Winelands, less than an hour’s drive from Cape Town.
