:: Liquid Youth Training

As you know the aim of Liquid Youth Training programmes is to equip South African doctors with the necessary theoretical and practical skills to diversify their practice into a very lucrative field where they can give expression to their creative side and at the same time operate in a highly lucrative, fast growing and stable environment. Not being exposed to the down side of standard general medicine in our country, but at the same time being involved with patients who are highly appreciative of your new found expertise and are more than happy to pay a premium for such treatment.

Please see below for information about the mentioned courses as well as the newly added French Mesotherapy Course being presented by Liquid Youth Training being held in Gauteng and Cape Town on a regular basis. Also attached is an application form which should to accompany your proof of payment should you wish to confirm your place for a particular course on a particular date. Early confirmation is necessary as only a limited number can attend each course so as to allow thorough training and special attention being given to the course attendants.

The course is so designed as to allow you to obtain CPD accreditation of at least 8 points for each course. You will also receive a professionally printed certificate after successful completion of the specific course.

The cost of the courses not only includes a thorough presentation of only the latest and most up to date techniques and trends experienced in person; mainly in the UK and France, but also:

  1. A presentation folder containing the full power point presentation,
  2. Latest Clinical Trials
  3. Marketing material
  4. Patient data and consent forms
  5. CD ROM with the full presentation and photographs
  6. DVD illustrating standard and advanced techniques in video format
  7. All necessary products and disposables to be used on the day.

No preparation is therefore needed prior to the courses and you will be provided with everything including regular coffee/tea breaks and a lunch within a 5 star rated conference facility.

Please note that the cost of the courses is tax deductible and should be completely absorbed after treating your first 2-3 patients.

The courses are all day courses running from 09H00 to 17H00 with 3 coffee breaks and a lunch break. It is suggested that should you do both the BTX and HAF course; to do the BTX course first.

Ps As the course can only accommodate 10 Doctors (Botulinum Toxin Type A Course) and 5 (Aesthetic Facial Fillers Course), early confirmation by means of payment is the only means to secure your place for any specific course on any specific date.

Accredited and Regulated training events in South Africa in Aesthetic minimal invasive procedures.

Training Objective The main purposes of these training programmes is to equip the clinician, not with the knowledge of the different available scientifically proven aesthetic procedures available, but also allow for the correct understanding thereof in the clinical setting.  The training will furthermore give the trainee the necessary theoretical background and practical skills to use these procedures with confidence which will not only be beneficial to the patient, but will be crucial for patient safety and satisfaction.  It should further be noted that this knowledge and skills is passed on from internationally acknowledge scientific data and clinical trials. Ultimately the clinician should have obtained the accreditation and skills through this course, up to now, only available overseas.

Botulinum Toxin Type A (BTX). The aim would be to familiarize the attendant with the pharmaco-dynamics and clinical application of this unique product and address its unique properties as an injectable: both in the facial aesthetic and rejuvenation arena as well as in selected medical applications. It will be described, unlike most other injectables as a very low volume, dynamic, relatively unstable product to be administrated in a very specific area and depth with astounding results for a variety of clinical applications such as treatment of wrinkles brow lift, facial asymmetry, overactive muscles and also medical applications such as hyperhidrosis, migraine and hemi facial palsy / spasm.

Non animal stabilized hyaluronic acid Fillers (NASHA). The objective yet again is to expose the trainee to the background and development of these fillers and to apply this knowledge in the clinical setting. Due to a wide range of products currently available the trainee will be familiarized with the most recent developments and products on the market. The clinician will be allowed to gain the necessary training and support to allow them to use these products with confidence and skill to satisfaction.

The objective of the course will be to amongst others supply guidelines on patient expectation assessment, recommended dosages regimens, safety recommendations, best product and device choice, injection technique, and

Mesotherapy. This is a technique mainly used in aesthetic medicine for facial rejuvenation (mesolift) and the treatment of cellulite. It is a French technique which was initiated more than 50 years ago, with currently 15 000 mesotherapists in France performing about 60 000 procedures per day throughout the country. This treatment form is rapidly spreading throughout the western world and is usually one of the main focuses in most aesthetic congresses worldwide. It is based on three principles, 1. small amounts of recognized medicine being injected in 2. a particular skin area and skin depth to be treated at 3. weekly intervals.

The objective of this course will be to familiarize the attendant with the background history, patho-physiology, different medications to be used and the variety of different treatment modes utilizing this relatively new , but revolutionary technique in a variety of aesthetic setting where other modalities are contra-indicated and/or inappropriate.

Ultimately equipping the clinician with the necessary skills and confidence to expand his/her practice into this area of Aesthetic Medicine.
